Police arrested two lorry drivers for dumping sand and rocks on a motorway in rural Abu Dhabi.
The pile of rubble was found on the road between the agricultural town of Ghayathi and Liwa Road in Al Dhafra Region.
Officers said the hazard came to light when Emirati driver posted a video on social media showing part of the road had been blocked.

The driver said in the video that the obstacle could have caused an accident if he had been driving at night.
Police did not say why the rubble was dumped by accident or intentionally but impounded the vehicles and are questioning the drivers.
