Two students on a university break in Dubai were killed in a devastating road accident in Jebel Ali in the early hours of Christmas Day.
Rohit Krishnakumar, 19, was studying in the UK at the University of Manchester and his friend, Sharat Kumar, 21, was a student at Boston University in the United States.
Both men were originally from Kerala, India, but had lived in Dubai.
They are believed to have been killed instantly, after meeting up overnight.
Krishnakumar was a former pupil at GEMS World Academy.
Police have yet to confirm details but sources indicate the car the men were travelling in collided with a tree at about 3am.
