Two road deaths in a day have taken the toll on Dubai's roads to six in just 10 days, officials said yesterday.
A 24-year-old Emirati driver died on Sunday night after jumping a red light and ramming into a truck. The car swerved, hit a road sign and flipped several times before crashing into a house. The driver died on the way to hospital. The 44-year-old Indian truck driver was moderately injured.
A few hours later, a Bangladeshi passenger died when the heavy vehicle he was in swerved and hit another on Emirates Road. An unidentified man was injured.
