UAE traffic: Heavy traffic around Sharjah

Tailbacks were again plaguing the roads of Sharjah on Thursday morning, with major roads and highways clogged with traffic.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road was busy from Sharjah's Al Tarfa area all the way to Dubai International Airport; while Al Ittihad Road, from Al Nahda to the Hor Al Anz East area and further down to Deira City Centre, was heavy with traffic heading into Dubai.
Beirut Street was also congested from the Haleb Street intersection to Baghdad Street.
In Abu Dhabi, the Abu Dhabi-Tarif Road was busy near Al Dhafra Area. Parts of the capital experienced light traffic at some intersections, including Muroor Street and Al Falah Street as well as Zayed the First Street and Mubarak bin Mohammed Street.
