Slow moving and heavy traffic was reported around Dubai on Wednesday morning.
It was slow on the E44 Al Khail Road near Business Bay and there was congestion in Zaabeel 2 on D-68 Al Khail Street.
Traffic is moving at a pace of 17kph near Dubai International Airport on Road 212.
In Sharjah, traffic around Sharjah Industrial Areas 17 was at a crawl. Traffic on E311 Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road, is also particularly slow going.
