Four accidents were reported in Dubai with traffic congestion in areas across the emirate, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi on Monday.
Dubai Police alerted motorists to use alternative routes after two lanes were closed on the Airport Road after the bin Soughat centre toward the airport.
Other accidents in Dubai occurred before the Meydan Street exit near Business Bay, on Al Khail Road near the Jumeirah Village Circle and on Hessa Street near Al Barsha South 2.
There was congestion on Al Ain Road, on Al Khail Road, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road near Victory Heights, Jumeirah Village Triangle, Green Community area, Jebel Ali Lahbab Road near Dubai Investment Park, Jebel Ali Industrial 1 area and in Sharjah near the Industrial Area 6.
In Abu Dhabi heavy traffic was reported on Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan street from Nifayr Street through to Ras Al Miyassah street, at Delma Park near the Nashash street and on Hazza bin Zayed Street near the Qasr Al Bahr area.
