Four accidents were reported in Dubai and in the capital on Thursday, causing congestion on main roads and holding up morning traffic.
The accidents occurred near the Dubai Investment Park roundabout and on Al Khail Road near the JSS school in Dubai.
Heavy traffic was also reported at Silicon Oasis, on the Al Ain Road, at International City in Dubai.
Cars were backed up in Sharjah at Kalba Road near the Tawi Matraq area and in the capital near Zayed the first street in the Al Zahiyah area up to the 9th street crossing.
In Abu Dhabi, the two accidents that were creating a backlog on Sheikh Zayed Street near the Reem exit were swiftly cleared, according to the Abu Dhabi Department of Municipal Affairs and Traffic.
