At about 1.30am a taxi and motorcycle were involved in a crash in Jumeirah. The motorcycle rider, from Jordan, had been trying to overtake the taxi from the right, according to police. He was hit as the taxi driver, from Nepal, tried to take a right turn. The motorcyclist’s injuries were said to be serious.
