DUBAI // Three men in a Ferrari were killed in the early hours of Sunday after the supercar hit a pavement and flew into a lamp post.
Police said the incident happened at about 12.30am on Al Sarayat Road in Jumeirah Lakes Towers and that the Ferrari split in two.
Col Saif Al Mazrouei, director of the General Department of Traffic at Dubai Police, said: “The three men were in a Ferrari, which hit the pavement, allowing the driver to lose control and crash into a lamp post, splitting the car in half.”
He added that the three men died from serious injuries sustained when they were thrown out of the vehicle.
Col Al Mazrouei urged motorists to drive carefully and always abide by traffic rules.
