People heading to Ibn Battuta Mall this weekend will need to take an alternative route home as traffic will be diverted to make way for roadworks.
The Northbound exit on Ibn Battuta Road will be closed from midnight on Thursday, November 9, to the morning of Saturday, November 11.

Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority announced the diversions on Wednesday ahead of carrying out road works as part of its Route 2020 expansion project for Dubai Metro.
Last month, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, launched excavations for a subway tunnel between Discovery Gardens and Green Community.
Work on the new link will connect the Red Line service on Sheikh Zayed Road to the Expo grounds in Dubai South.
Travel time from Dubai Marina to the Expo site is expected to take just 16 minutes once the extension is complete.
