Dubai Police have warned all Al Ahli and Al Ain football club fans to be inside Rashid Stadium two hours before kick-off on Friday.

The event's security committee said it had taken all measures to "facilitate and secure the surroundings" of the high-profile Arabian Gulf League fixture.

The committee held a preparatory meeting on Thursday to ensure plans are in place ahead of the match, which kicks off at 8pm.

Seating is segregated, with gates 5 and 6 designated for home Al Ahli fans, while gates 3 and 4 are assigned for visiting Al Ain supporters.

Police have demarcated separating parking, lots with Al Ahli fans directed to park opposite Al Mulla Plaza. Al Ain fans can park opposite Dubai Police General Headquarters.

Al Ain are undefeated and sit top of the Arabian Gulf League. Al Ahli, the 2015-16 champions, are sixth.
