Ramadan 2018: Dubai parking and public transport timings adjusted during holy month

Paid parking timings in Dubai will be changed for the duration of Ramadan, the Roads and Transport Authority announced on Tuesday.

Motorists will have to pay for parking during two periods between Saturday and Thursday during the holy month. First from 8am to 6pm and then from 8pm to midnight.

At Tecom, fees will apply from 8am to 6pm. Parking must be paid in the multi-level parking lots at all times.

Public transport timings have also been adjusted for the duration of the holy month.

Metro Stations on the Red Line and Green Line will operate from Saturday to Wednesday between 5am and midnight. On Thursday, from 5am am to 1am the following morning, and on Friday from 10am to 1am.

Dubai Tram will run from Saturday to Thursday between 6am to 1am, and on Friday from 9am to 1am.

Main Bus Stations, such as Gold Souq, will operate from 4.25am to 12.02am. Al Ghubaiba Station will be in service from 4.16am to 12.31am.

Sub-stations, such as Satwa, will start from 5am to 11.59pm except for Route C01 which will operating round-the-clock. Al Qusais Station will run its bus service from 4.20am to 11.31pm, and Al Quoz Industrial Station will operate from 6am to 11.35pm. Jebel Ali Station will operate from 5.40am until 11.30pm
