Nissan is recalling 841,000 cars worldwide because of a potential steering problem but fewer than 500 vehicles are affected in the Middle East.
The Japanese manufacturer is recalling certain models of the Micra produced between 2002 and 2006, and the Cube model produced during the same period.
Nissan Middle East did not provide further details.
The problem relates to a loosening of a bolt in the steering wheel column.
No accidents as a result of this issue have been reported.
The repair is expected to take about 40 minutes.
