Abu Dhabi to Dubai commuters faced huge delays on Thursday evening after an accident partially blocked the road between the cities.
The accident near Deerfields in Al Shahama led to near standstill traffic for more than 45 minutes.
Thousands of vehicles crawled following the crash at about 7.30pm.
Police were at the scene and several trucks were seen pushed to the side of the road.
