An accident created long tailbacks on a busy Dubai motorway during Wednesday morning rush hour, slowing traffic to a crawl.
Traffic backed up on the E44 Ras Al Khor Road after the crash near Dubai Design District.
Nearby, on Al Khail Street, traffic was also forced to creep after accidents in the direction of Abu Dhabi, one in Al Jadaf and a second at Business Bay.
There was the usual gridlock across many roads in Sharjah, and traffic was also moving slowly in Abu Dhabi across Sheikh Zayed Bridge and down Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Street up to Anantara Eastern Mangroves Hotel.
