The Roads and Transport Authority said there will be free parking across the emirate on Thursday with the exception of the Fish Market and multi-storey parking facilities.
Free parking across Dubai on Isra Wal Meraj holiday
DUBAI // Special timings for public transport in Dubai has been announced ahead of the Isra Wal Meraj holiday on Thursday.
The Metro's Red Line will be in service from 5:30am to 1am and the Green Line from 5:50 am to 1am on Thursday.
All bus services will operate from 6am to midnight, except for Jebel Ali, Abu Hail, Etisalat, Deira City Centre, and Karama bus stations which will end services at 10pm. Burj Khalifa station will continue operations till 1am.
Other bus services will be operating around the clock, including commercial transport bus stations, main stations such as Al-Ghubaibah, and inter-emirate stations such as Sharjah's Jubail-Bur Dubai line.
Sharjah's Jubail-Deira line and Abu Dhabi bus stations will serve customers only from 6am to midnight. Fujairah, Ajman and Hatta Stations will be in service from 6am to 10pm.
Water buses will run from 10am to midnight, and water taxis will be available from 9am to 10pm, while the ferry will operate from 9am to 7pm.
The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) said there would be free parking across the emirate on Thursday with the exception of the Fish Market and multi-storey parking facilities. Paid services will be reactivated on Saturday.
All RTA customer care centres will be closed on Thursday, June 6 and will be back to work on Sunday.
All driving schools will be closed with the exception of Galadari and Al Ahli Centres, which will only handle registration and training, and the Emirates Institute, which will accept registrations only.
All driving testing and licensing departments will be off on Thursday, as will staff of vehicle inspection and registration centres.
