Four pupils injured in school bus and lorry crash
Dubai traffic police chief says lorry hit bus due to driver not leaving enough distance between vehicles
Four students were injured in a traffic accident on Monday morning on Al Itihad Road, Dubai Police said.
Col Saif Al Mazrouei, director of the General Department of Traffic, said: "A truck driver hit the school bus due to not leaving enough distance."
Three students suffered moderate injuries and one student suffered minor injuries, according to Dubai Police.
Another accident was recorded on Monday morning on Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road after Ras Al Khor Bridge.
The accident involved a lorry carrying olive oil and the driver lost control and over turned. No injuries were recorded.
Col Al Mazrouei advised motorists to leave safe distance and pay attention to the road.
