Extra buses and trains scheduled in Dubai for Eid Al Fitr

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced its Eid Al Fitr timings.

DUBAI // Trains and buses will be working overtime this weekend to ensure everyone gets where they need to be this Eid.

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced today the Metro would operate for an extra hour during Eid Al Fitr, either from Friday to Monday or Friday to Tuesday, starting at 5.50am and continuing until 1am the next day.

Metro feeder bus stations at Rashidiya, Mall of the Emirates, Ibn Battuta, Abu Hail, Burj Khalifa and Etisalat will also be operating longer hours and will stay open between 6am and 1am.

Public buses at main stations such as Gold Souq and Al Ghubaiba, and subsidiary stations such as Satwa, Al Qusais, Al Quoz Industrial, and Jebel Ali will start at 6am and continue running until midnight.

Commercial buses and intercity bus services from the main stations will operate around the clock during the holiday, while the Deira to Abu Dhabi, Fujairah, Ajman and Hatta services will run from 6am to midnight.

The Water Bus will operate from 7am to 10pm, the Water Taxi from 10am to 10pm, and Ferry Dubai from 9am to 9pm.

All paid parking zones in Dubai will be free from Friday until the third day of Eid. Multi-storey parking and parking lots at the Fish Market will not be free during Eid.

Emirates Driving Institute, Belhasa Driving Center, Dubai Driving Center, Galadari Driving Center, Al Ahli Driving Center, and Dubai International Driving Center will be closed during the first and second days of Eid and will resume duty on the third day of the Eid.

All vehicles testing and registration centres will be closed for all three days of Eid Al Fitr.

Customer Service Centers will be closed from Friday to the third day of Eid.
