A young Emirati man died after his car rammed into metal barriers before it flipped over and landed on the side of a road in Dubai.
Dubai police said the driver inadvertently swerved to the right side of Al Khail Road on Wednesday night.
“The driver was not able to avoid hitting the metal barriers when his car served,” said a police source.
“The impact of the crash forced the car to turn a few times before it left the road.”
Police were alerted to the incident at about10pm with traffic patrols from Al Barsha police station immediately dispatched to the scene.
Attending officers found two men in the car.
One of the men was pronounced dead at the scene while the other was suffering from moderate injuries and transferred to hospital.
Police did not disclose the ages of either men.
