Emirates airline cancelled all flights to Fort Lauderdale and Orlando on Sunday as Hurricane Irma approached Florida, having left scenes of devastation across the Caribbean.
The airline also cancelled flights to Orlando on Monday and disruption to other flights serving the Sunshine State looked likely as the storm approached.
"We are monitoring the situation closely, and aim to give customers as much notice as possible if there are any further changes to our operations," Emirates said in a statement on its website.
