375 vehicles seized in Al Ain for traffic violations

Al Ain traffic police seized 375 vehicles and eight motorcycles for road rule breaches in November.

Al Ain traffic police seized 375 vehicles and eight motorcycles for road rule breaches in November.

These included dangerous overtaking by lorries, reckless driving or racing and failure to stop after causing an accident, said Lt Col Mohammed Al Mazroui, deputy director of external region traffic at Abu Dhabi Police.

He added that vehicles are seized once motorists accumulate 24 black points on their licence.

Meanwhile, 368 vehicles and two motorcycles were released from the pound during the same period.
