Wadeema's mother says she hopes that the law named in her daughter's memory will help to ensure no other youngster endures what her child went through.
The eight-year-old's body was found buried in the desert of Al Badayer, Sharjah.
She had succumbed to injuries police alleged were inflicted over at least seven months by her father and his girlfriend.
"Naming the law after her will always remind all people of her suffering," her mother said.
"I wish that it will help protect children from all types of abuse."
Wadeema's seven-year-old sister, Mira, is staying at the Dubai Children and Women's Foundation, and her mother plans to pay her a visit today.
"It will certainly make her happy," she said.
Wadeema's father and girlfriend are on trial for imprisoning and torturing the girls and may face a firing squad if found guilty.
The next hearing will take place on November 25.
