ABU DHABI // Stage productions featuring Dora the Explorer and comic-book superheroes and villains have pushed attendance at the Summer in Abu Dhabi festival above 30,000, according to organisers.

The Show World productions - Dora and the Big Piñata and Thor, with special guests Wolverine, Captain America and Dr Doom - run twice daily from Sunday to Thursday in the 120-capacity theatre at Adnec, and three times daily at weekends.
