Star Trek fans cling on to hopes of language lessons

For anyone who missed out on the chance to brush up on their Klingon, another opportunity might arise, an Eton Institute of Languages' employee says.

For anyone who missed out on the chance to brush up on their Klingon, the ancient - and entirely mythical - language used in the TV show, Star Trek, another opportunity might arise, said Yusra Hammadi, a marketing assistant for Eton Institute of Languages, in Dubai.

The language school became a hit with Star Trek fans, or Trekkies, as they are better known, after launching a week-long Klingon class, online, which finished this month. And for those keen to take their Klingon even further, help is at hand, said Ms Hammadi.
