A gang tried to smuggle 18 men and women into the UAE, hidden under the floor of a lorry.

Abu Dhabi Police officers discovered the men and women crammed into a tight space at the Al Ain-Oman border crossing.

Police said they acted on a tip-off and enlisted the help of Abu Dhabi Customs to catch the gang.
