Six people killed in Al Ain house fire
Four members of one family lose their lives in a blaze
Six people, including a family of four, were killed in a fire at a home in Al Ain City.
A Pakistani man, in his fifties, his two sons and their cousin, all in their twenties, and two family friends lost their lives as a blaze broke out on Friday evening.
One Pakistani man, Mohammed Raheem, who survived the horrific incident, told local media how he managed to flee as flames engulfed the property.
He said the fire had quickly spread through the home.
Mr Raheem said he managed to break through the ceiling of a bathroom to get out before he was overcome by smoke.
He received treatment at hospital for minor burns to his foot and hand.
He said the fire started in a small room in the property, where several flammable items were stored, including wood.
