Six people including three children injured in RAK car accident
The accident occured when one of the vehicles veered off the road and collided with three other vehicles
Three children, two men and one woman were injured in an accident involving four vehicles in Ras Al Khaimah on Wednesday.
The accident occured when one of the vehicles veered off the road and collided with three other vehicles.
Police patrols and ambulances were immediately dispatched to the site after RAK police received a report about the accident.
Col Ahmed Al Naqbi, acting director of the traffic and patrols department at RAK Police, said six people were injured in the accident and three of them were children aged 4, 6 and 11.
“A 40-year-old Emirati driver and his 4-year-old son suffered from minor injuries in the accident, along with a 35-year-old African man and his 34-year-old wife and their two sons aged 11 and 6,” said Col Al Naqbi.
They were all transferred to hospital and the case has been referred to prosecutors to complete the necessary legal procedures.
Col Al Naqbi urged motorists to leave sufficient distance between vehicles to prevent sudden stop accidents, exercise caution while on the road and to comply with traffic rules and regulations.
