Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai on Saturday, inaugurated the smart police services centre at City Walk in Dubai.
Hailed as the first of its kind in the region, Sheikh Mohammed instructed the Dubai Police to open more centres in residential and commercial districts in the emirate to provide smart services, facilitate easy access and communication between the public and the police, and to save the time of clients.

Maj Gen Abdullah Al Marri, commander-in-chief of Dubai Police, told Sheikh Mohammed the centre will operate round-the-clock to provide 27 services to the public ranging from traffic to criminal and community, in addition to 33 fully automated sub-services.
Lt Gen Dahi Khalfan Tamim, Deputy chairman of police and Public security in Dubai and a number of senior police officers attended the inauguration ceremony.
