Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Monday received Dr Abdullah ibn Muhammad Al ash-Sheikh, chairman of Saudi Arabia's Majlis ash-Shura at the International Defence Exhibition and Conference.
The Majlis ash-Shura, or Consultative Council, is a legislative body that advises the King on issues that are important to Saudi and Mr Al ash-Sheikh is currently visiting the UAE at the invitation of the Federal National Council.
They discussed the strong fraternal relations between the two countries and ways to enhance them, state-run press agency Wam reported.
Sheikh Mansour also received Sudan's Defence Minister Lieut-Gen Awad Ibn Ouf, also at Idex 2019, which is on in Abu Dhabi this week.
The two also discussed bilateral relations and ways to develop them.
