As the country celebrates the wedding of the Dubai Ruler's three sons, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, the Crown Prince of Dubai and Deputy Prime Minister, has paid tribute to his late older brother, Sheikh Rashid bin Mohammed.

The groom shared an image to his Instagram account of him and Sheikh Rashid in an embrace.

“My brother's words coming from his mouth were the most beautiful word that lips can say,” the post said.

Sheikh Rashid died aged 33 on September 19, 2015, of a heart attack.

At the time, Sheikh Hamdan said that he had lost his best friend and childhood companion. He often pays tribute to his brother online, sharing photos of them when they were young.

On Thursday, Sheikh Hamdan and brothers Sheikh Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, and Sheikh Ahmed, Chairman of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation, celebrated their recent marriages in a joint men's private ceremony at Dubai World Trade Centre.
