Sheikh Hamdan meets Saudi Crown Prince in Makkah for royal iftar

The Crown Prince of Dubai also met King Salman at Safa Palace, where they exchanged Ramadan greetings

Dubai’s Crown Prince, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, visited the royal family of Saudi Arabia to share Ramadan greetings on Sunday.

A UAE delegation was met by King Salman in Makkah before an iftar banquet at Safa Palace.

Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman also greeted Sheikh Hamdan at the celebration.

Sheikh Hamdan and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman are understood to have discussed issues related to peace and development in the region.

Sheikh Hamdan's next major public engagement is on June 6, when he and his brothers, Sheikh Maktoum and Sheikh Ahmed, will host a wedding ceremony to celebrate their marriage to Sheikha Sheikha bint Saeed bin Thani Al Maktoum, Sheikha Maryam bint Butti Al Maktoum, Sheikha Midya bint Dalmouj Al Maktoum.

The couples had a private wedding, as is custom, on Wednesday May 15.
