OTTAWA // Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, has held talks with Canada’s prime minister Justin Trudeau while visiting the North American nation.

Sheikh Abdullah, who headed a UAE delegation, and Mr Trudeau discussed ways to boost cooperation and investment opportunities between the two countries.

He also conveyed the greetings of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, state news agency Wam reported.

Mr Trudeau welcomed Sheikh Abdullah to Canada, saying that his visit strengthens cooperation and is in the interest of both countries and their people.

Also at the meeting was Mohammed Saif Hilal Al Shehhi, the UAE Ambassador to Canada.
