Sharjah court adjourns death case of Kuwaiti student

The lawyer representing the family of Kuwaiti Mubarak Meshaal Al Mubarak said additional evidence is required.

The first hearing in the case of a University of Sharjah pupil allegedly beaten to death by friends last year, has been adjourned by a Sharjah court.

The lawyer representing the family of the victim, 19-year-old Kuwaiti Mubarak Meshaal Al Mubarak, said more evidence was required.

Mubarak died hospital after sustaining fractures and an internal haemorrhage in March last year.

A police forensic report earlier said signs of beatings and burn marks had been found on the victim’s body.
