DUBAI // A drunk man who molested a 15-year-old girl as she waited for her school bus has been sentenced to seven months in prison.
BA, 45, from Afghanistan, groped the girl and tried to pull off her skirt after approaching her in Al Karama on April 11 this year.
She pushed him away and he fell to the ground before getting back up and cycling away.
He confessed to police, saying that the girl’s short skirt had made him feel “turned on”.
The Criminal Court found him guilty on charges of forceful sex assault and drinking alcohol without a licence. He will be deported after serving his jail term.
