FUJAIRAH // A 26-year-old Emirati was found dead in his car on Monday near Merbeh Dam.
Police are investigating the man’s death after a member of the public spotted the man motionless in his vehicle.
Maj Saeed Al Hassani, head of the media department at Fujairah Police, said the operations room received a call at 5.30pm on Monday from the passer-by, so an ambulance and investigators were dispatched.
Investigators collected evidence from the scene and the man’s body was taken to the forensics lab to identifying the cause of death.
The death follows that of another Emirati man in his car in Fujairah Hospital's car park last Friday. The 30-year-old from Ajman, M G, was later found to have died of a drug overdose.
