Huge discounts of up to 90 per cent will in store for shoppers this weekend as more than 1,500 outlets at 15 malls in Abu Dhabi take part in a 24-hour Eid mega sale.
The massive sale, organised by the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, in collaboration with Abu Dhabi’s Department of Economic Development, will kick off at 10am on Friday and run until 10am the following day.
The shopping bonanza will also feature a diverse line-up of events as well as a rich array of activities at malls and venues across the emirate
In addition, Abu Dhabi will be marking the first day of Eid Al Fitr with a dazzling fireworks display that will light up the sky from 9pm on Friday at Abu Dhabi Corniche and Hazza bin Zayed stadium in Al Ain.

The malls participating in the super sale are World Trade Centre (WTC) Mall, Al Jimi Mall, Dalma Mall, Hili Mall, Marina Mall, Bawadi Mall, Yas Mall, Al Wahda Mall, Mushrif Mall, Khalidiyah mall, Mazyad Mall, Al Raha Mall, Madinat Zayed Shopping Center, Al Foah Mall, and Barari Outlet Mall.
The super sale will be held ahead of Abu Dhabi Summer Season (ADSS) getting underway from June 21, an annual city-wide extravaganza.
Last year, tens of thousands of bargain hunters descended on Yas Mall for mega sale.
