Prince Mohammed bin Salman enjoyed the F1 finale with Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid and Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman joined UAE leaders and tens of thousands of race fans for the finale of the Formula One season on Sunday.

Fresh from his state visit to the Emirates last week, Prince Mohammed enjoyed one of the highlights of the country's sporting calendar, the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

He was there with Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, and Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.

The 11th annual Abu Dhabi race, which has been the final stop on the F1 circuit for several seasons, featured another triumph by World Champion Lewis Hamilton.

Prince Mohammed is no stranger to the Yas Marina track, having also attended last year's big race with UAE leaders, when six-time champion Hamilton again drove to victory.

As part of his visit, Prince Mohammed also held high-level talks with Sheikh Mohammed at Zabeel Palace in Dubai on Thursday.

He also toured the sprawling Expo 2020 site in Jebel Ali, which will open next October.

Prince Mohammed visited Al Wasl Plaza, the centrepiece of the site, and toured the UAE and Saudi pavilions.

He concluded his visit to the UAE following his day watching the wheel-to-wheel action at Yas Marina Circuit.
