RAK police awarded 25% pay rise

Ras Al Khaimah Police are awarded a 25 per cent pay rise by the emirate's Ruler, Sheikh Saud bin Saqr.

Ras Al Khaimah Police have been awarded a 25 per cent pay rise by the emirate's Ruler, Sheikh Saud bin Saqr.

Sheikh Saqr said during a tour of the police headquarters on Sunday that security had always been an essential component of development and prosperity across the Emirates, according to Al Ittihad, the Arabic-language sister paper of The National.

"The UAE now is an oasis of stability and security for the whole world," he said.

"Preserving security, public safety and stability in our society is a shared responsibility between members of the public and state institutions, and it is the duty of every Emirati and expatriate living in this country."
