Rain fell briefly over Al Ain and its surrounds this morning, with more drizzle likely tomorrow.
"There was very small amount of drizzle about an hour ago at Al Dhaher in Al Ain and Um Ghafa near Al Ain," said a spokesman for the National Center of Meteorology and Seismology. "The rain might repeat itself tomorrow," he said.
Rain is also expected over the country's western region tomorrow.
The lowest temperatures recorded this morning were 17.5 degrees in Jebel Jais and Jabal Mebreh and 18 degrees in Al Hamra, Ras Al Khaimah.
The maximum temperatures over inland parts of the country will be 40 degrees today, with calm seas expected.
