Private-sale cars and abandoned vehicles impounded in Ajman

More than 60 abandoned cars and vehicles advertised as being for sale have been impounded.

More than 60 abandoned cars and vehicles advertised as being for sale have been impounded.

Sixty-five cars were removed after their owners were issued warnings and a grace period had passed, said Humaid Abdullah Al Mua'lla, the director of the Health and Environment Department at Ajman Municipality.

He stressed that displaying cars for sale on the street was against the law and anyone who wished to sell a vehicle should use the emirate's car market.

Leaving a vehicle unattended in a public place for seven days carries a fine of Dh300.
