Breast cancer awareness campaign Pink Caravan Ride is calling on horse riders from across the UAE to saddle up and take part in their seven-day ride across the seven emirates.
The ride set to take place between February 23 and March 1 next year with as many as 150 equestrians expected to take part.
The yearly event is organised by Friend of Cancer Patients, a non-profit society, and it offers free medical advice, as well as ultrasounds and mammogram screenings.
Breast cancer is one of the most frequently diagnosed malignancies in the UAE. The annual campaign aims to raise awareness of the importance of self-examination and regular screenings – early detection increases survival rates.
