DUBAI // Fans will have a chance to meet Filipino boxing champion Manny Pacquiao when he appears at a store in Dubai Mall next month.

The sportsman will visit the du shop on November 4, ahead of a game by Philippine Basketball Association team Mahindra Enforcers, for which Pacquiao is both head coach and a player.

Lucky fans will be able to speak to the boxer, receive autographed T-shirts, signed boxing gloves, and have their photos taken with the champion.

“We are thrilled to enrich the lives of our valued customers by putting them face to face with a legend in his own time,” said Hala Badri, executive vice president of communication at du.

“The Filipino community makes up a huge portion of our valued customer base and by bringing their champion to them we are also bringing them a little bit of home.”

Pacquiao and his team will be competing in a PBA Philippine Cup Game on November 6 and 7 at Al Wasl Sports Club in Dubai.

The Filipino sportsman is also set to visit a launch event for the Go Sports outlet in the Mall of the Emirates on November 5.
