New police complex inaugurated in Abu Dhabi

The three building complex will be able to house more than two thousand employees.

Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed, the Minister of Interior, inaugurated a new Abu Dhabi Police complex today.

It can accommodate more than two thousand employees, in three main buildings.

One will house the departments of engineering, procurement and warehouses, community service, staff performance assessment and victims' affairs division; another the decision support centre, the leadership and creativity development department, the customer service department, the child protection centre, the benchmarking centre, the monitoring and control division in addition to a theatre that seats 400 people.

The third building hosts the human resources departments.

There are two car park buildings, and work on a housing block is under way.
