Dubai//One person was killed this morning on the Dubai-Hatta road, police said.
A four-wheel-drive vehicle crashed into a motorcycle just before the Al Awir roundabout.
The accident, which occurred at 8.40 am, resulted in the death of the motorcycle driver, a Briton in his thirties, police said.
The crash occurred when the motorcyclist tried to cross through a gap in the sidewalk that separated one direction of the road from the other, Police said.
The Egyptian driver of the 4X4 Land Cruiser is also in his thirties.
