More than 1.5 million travel to Saudi Arabia for Haj

About 1.8 million pilgrims are expected to arrive in Saudi Arabia to perform the Haj this year, in addition to between 700,000 and 800,000 from within the kingdom.

JEDDAH, SAUDI ARABIA // More than 1.5 million Muslims have arrived in Saudi Arabia for the Haj pilgrimage to Mecca, the world's largest annual human assembly which peaks on Saturday, state media said yesterday.
