ABU DHABI // Moderate rain fell on Al Manaei, north of Hatta, with lightning and thunder at mid-day yesterday.
Clouds had started to develop in the eastern region of the country, particularly north of Hatta.
However, weather experts are not expecting any significant change in the weather over the next few days.
"Tomorrow, some clouds will be accumulating over the north and eastern ares with a chance of some rain in these areas," said a weather forecaster at the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology in Abu Dhabi. "We are not expecting rain in Abu Dhabi and Dubai."
Yesterday's temperatures in the coastal area - from the Western Region to Ras Al Khaimah - were between 32C and 36C. Inland temperatures were between 34C and 39C.
"Temperatures will remain the same tomorrow," said the forecaster.
Tomorrow, the weather will be relatively hot during daytime, mild to pleasant at night over the interior region and the mountains.
On Monday, it will be partly cloudy over some northern and eastern areas. It will be relatively hot during the day, mild to pleasant at night over the interior region and the mountains.
For the next few days the temperature along the coastal areas temperatures will be between 31C and 35C, while it will be 34C and 39C in the interior region.
