Two men had sex with a prostitute in the back seat of a car then robbed and kicked her out of the moving vehicle, prosecutors told Dubai Criminal Court.

The 21-year-old woman told investigators she met the men – who told her they were policemen - at 4.30am on April 28 this year.

After agreeing on a price the Pakistani woman got into their car with the Indian and Pakistani men and they drove to a remote area, she said.

“Afterwards one of them went through my purse and took Dh600 I had, then snatched my phone and threw me out of the car,” the woman said.

She filed a report with police claiming had been kidnapped and raped.

“We initiated investigations and the woman took us to the location where she said the men kidnapped her from, it was near a hotel, so we checked the cameras in the area and saw as she spoke to a man for a while then got into the car with him willingly,” said an Emirati policeman, 44.

The woman was arrested for filing an incorrect report and deported.

Police identified the men from the car number plate and arrested them as they were talking to women in the same area they met the prostitute.

“They resisted arrest and hit a police patrol that was chasing them but were arrested and referred to Al Raffa police station,” said the officer.

During police questioning the pair, aged 24 and 36, admitted to regularly targeting prostitutes in the area.

Police found the stolen phone in the car and Dh200 that remained from the amount they stole from the victim.

“The men worked in a garage and the car they used in the crime was for a customer,” said the policeman.

Both men denied charges of theft.

The next hearing will be on July 27.
