A lifeguard has been sentenced to three months in prison after molesting two young brothers at a swimming pool in Dubai.
Prosecutors told how the Nepali defendant, 28, touched the Saudi siblings, aged 7 and 8, inappropriately while they were swimming in September.
Giving evidence to Dubai Criminal Court, the 8-year-old said the lifeguard had dived underneath the water before carrying out the assault.
“He [the defendant] is always with us in the pool and teaches us how to swim," said the boy. "He often dived underneath us and touched our privates."
Appearing in court earlier this month, the lifeguard denied sexual assault. Police said he admitted touching the boys by mistake while teaching them to swim.
