DUBAI // A silver-coloured Lamborghini caught fire in Al Garhoud on Sunday afternoon.
“I was on the entrance to Garhoud Bridge, heading from Dubai towards Sharjah. It was in the middle of the road and there was some traffic, people was slowing down to look at it,” a witness said.
“Apparently it had caught fire, but the fire was already out [when I saw it]. There were people around it, someone had the fire extinguisher and was able to put it out.”
He said evidence of the fire could be seen at the rear of the car.
Dubai Police have been contacted for a comment.
