Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed, President of the UAE, will lead the country's delegation at the 29th summit of the heads of GCC states beginning tomorrow in Muscat. The leaders will discuss the global financial crisis at the two-day summit and are expected to announce details of a Gulf monetary union. They are also expected to review political and economic developments in the region, and how to deal with them.Sheikh Khalifa yesterday attended a banquet at the Dubai World Trade Centre in celebration of the wedding of the daughter of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, to Sheikh Saeed bin Dalmouk bin Juma'a Al Maktoum.
